- EXAMPLE 1
-
Carry out noise measurement to determine sound insulation requirements for external peripheral walls of a building.
For buildings to be used mainly during the daytime, the measurement time period is 8:00 to 18:00. For buildings to be used both day and night, the measurement time period is 24 hours.
At the intended position of the external walls whose sound insulation design is being determined, measure constant noise, fluctuating noise, intermittent noise, impulse noise etc., using methods suitable to the sound environment of the site. Then determine the representative values.
Display measurement values using octave bands.
